According to Facebook, their Like button is seen more than 22 billion times every day and is embedded on 7.5 million websites. Recently, this well-known icon has been redesigned. The thumb has been removed, and it can now be seen in the box above the Like button that shows the number of Likes the page has. The Facebook “F” symbol has taken the place of the thumb on the button, and the button is also now white on blue, instead of blue on white.
The button was redesigned for high-resolution screens, and users should start to see it on websites over the next few weeks. Websites using the old Like button will be updated automatically.
Facebook says that the new design is already generating better results. It just shows how a small change can make a big difference!
